What?
Beach Clean Volunteer {noun}
Definition:

1. A dedicated individual who volunteers their free time to clean beaches.

2. A person who spends their time protecting the marine environment.

3. A person who saves our Ocean and the life it holds.

Why?
Our world has one ocean which is connected, it covers more than 70% of the earth’s surface and it’s estimated of all life on earth up to 80% is found under the ocean.

Humans have explored less than 10% of the ocean but with every new discovery and every new journey to the ocean, we are finding our rubbish has beaten us there. Our ocean is in need of protection and we have only one chance to save it before it’s too late.

How?
The work of our volunteers is incredibly important in protecting our Ocean and the life it holds.

If we can collect as much rubbish as possible from the coastline it will be prevented from heading out or returning to the ocean, where it can have terrible effects on the animals and habitats within.

Join our volunteers on our next beach clean!
